Eddy Touma, Lebanon, is the co-founder and CEO of Klangoo (New York, Beirut, Amsterdam). He holds an MS in Software Engineering from the University of Liverpool and has been a researcher in the Artificial Intelligence domain for more than 11 years. He has previously worked in both technical positions and marketing/corporate communications roles in Lebanon, Qatar, and USA. Apart from Klangoo he is the Co-Founder and Chairman of ONSITE (MENA) and an independent research scientist working on Natural Language Processing and Understanding (NLP/NLU), Text analysis, Data Mining, Machine Learning, and Authorship Characterization and Recognition. He has won several awards including the Microsoft Imagine Cup EMEA in 2006. Eddy also advises start-ups on funding, product roadmap, and monetization strategies.
