Mike Fey, Co-Founder & CEO


Mike Fey the Co-Founder & CEO of Island. Fey first got his start in 1997 as a developer at Lockheed Martin. From there, he went on to Mercury, before eventually rising to CEO at D2iQ, his most recent position prior to joining Island.


Fey graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with an undergraduate degree in engineering physics, physics and mathematics.


Dan Amiga, Co-Founder & CTO


Dan Amiga is the Co-Founder & CTO of Island, which he co-founded in 2020. Previously, Amiga was a VP of Engineering of web isolation at Symantec and before that a co-founder & CTO at Fireglass acquired by Symantec. Earlier in his career he worked with Unit 8200 – Israeli Intelligence Corps as a software security innovator.


Amiga earned an MBA in business law from Bar-Ilan University and an undergraduate degree in computer science from Reichman University (IDC Herzliya).


Brian Kenyon, Chief Strategy Officer


Brian Kenyon is the Chief Strategy Officer of Island. Before joining Island, Kenyon was an owner, cyber security adviser & consultant at Radix Consulting and before that a Chief Strategy Officer at D2iQ. Earlier in his career he worked with Foundstone as a chief architect.


Kenyon graduated from Loyola Marymount University with an undergraduate degree in finance and business administration.


Ellen Roeckl, Chief Marketing Officer


Ellen Roeckl is the Chief Marketing Officer of Island. Roeckl first got her start in 1990 as an associate at Cunningham Communication. From there, she went on to Technology Solutions, Inc., before eventually rising to vice president of corporate marketing at Fastly, her most recent position prior to joining Island.


Roeckl graduated from Humboldt State University with an undergraduate degree in journalism and PR.


Jennifer Park, Chief People Officer


Jennifer Park is the Chief People Officer of Island, which she first joined in 2022. Previously, Park was a Chief People Officer at D2iQ and before that a Director and Senior HR Business Partner at Google. Earlier in her career she worked with McKinsey & Company as a Senior Analyst.


Park earned an undergraduate degree in English literature from University of California in Los Angeles.
