As cybersecurity grows in prominence in just about every industry, the demand for companies like Snyk is skyrocketing. Founded in 2015, Snyk is a cloud-based application security and testing platform. It is designed to help companies discover and fix vulnerabilities in open source code, containers, and libraries throughout the development process. Today, the cybersecurity tool is used by more than 1,200 customers worldwide, including industry leaders such as Asurion, Google, Intuit, MongoDB, New Relic, Revolut, and Salesforce. Among its numerous recognitions, Snyk was included on the Forbes Cloud 100 2021, the 2021 CNBC Disruptor 50, and was named a Visionary in the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant.

As demand for the platform increases, so does the size of the operation. As of May 2022, the Boston-based company has 1,375 employees working in offices in Tel Aviv, Ottawa, Zurich, and London. In December 2021, Bloomberg reported that the company was preparing for an IPO in 2022. This news comes on the heels of some impressive financial gains for Snyk; in September 2021, following a Series F funding round, the company was valued at a whopping $8.5 billion.
