In December 2018, Amy Rothstein accepted the role of Chief Operating Officer of RhythmOne plc where she manage business, legal and compliance functions. Prior to that, in February 2018, she accepted the role of Chief Legal Officer at RhythmOne after the acquisition of YuMe Inc., by RhythmOne. As the General Counsel of YuMe, she represented the company in its sale to RhythmOne (LSE AIM: RTHM) for $185 million – this deal was honored as the 2019 Cross-Border M&A Deal of the Year (Mid-Market) by M&A Atlas Global Markets Awards and as the Corporate/Strategic Deal of the Year ($100M-$250M) by M&A Advisor.She held the position of General Counsel at YuMe from November of 2016. Prior to that, she was Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at YuMe from August, 2013. Responsibilities at both RhythmOne and YuMe include corporate governance, IPO related work, implementation of post IPO policies and processes, all MAR and SEC reporting and compliance issues, M&A, international expansion and operation, employment matters, intellectual property, general corporate and board support, litigation management and negotiation and drafting of complex commercial transaction documents.
Prior to joining YuMe, Amy was Director, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate and Securities at Hewlett-Packard, where she led the US M&A team. Her previous roles include Corporate Associate in the Private Equity Group of Weil, Gotshal & Manges and Corporate Associate with Cooley LLP.
Leads by example and is the hardest working person in the room. She is a constant advocate for her team and is highly invested their growth and development. She consistently thinks outside of the box and recommends creative solutions. She is always trying to grow intellectually and professionally, while seamlessly balancing work and being a mom.
