Profile

Paramita Bhattacharya is a transformational global marketing leader, experienced in building and scaling business growth through a combination of marketing vision, go-to-market strategies, and operational management.

She has worked extensively across the technology industry including in the Americas, Europe, and China. Throughout her career Paramita has combined her expertise in creating customer experiences and brand innovation with integrated communications, partnerships, ecosystem development, and a customer-focused, data-oriented marketing framework to drive success.

A start in large advertising agencies such as McCann and JWT, gave Paramita a strong foundation in creative expression and brand storytelling. Her keen interest in the potential of visual & digital platforms and an MFA degree in Communication Arts, meant she was a natural early adopter of the digital technology revolution in Silicon Valley. For two decades, Paramita honed her craft at global Fortune 500 companies such as Adobe, Hitachi, and Nokia. Under her leadership, business growth was driven through award winning brand, website, digital, product, sales, and communications campaigns.

A storyteller at heart, Paramita enjoys the intersection of media, design, and technology and the creative possibilities it can bring. She is involved with CMO advisory boards and mentorship organizations and regularly speaks at industry panels and conferences.

Paramita joined Blurb in January of 2020 and is excited to lead the company into its next phase of market and commercial success.

  1. Paramita is an exceptional leader that empowers her team to tackle challenges their way but gives solid guidance to help prioritize and remove blockers. She is an amazing mentor who demonstrates how to foster good and lasting relationships with other teams in the organization as well as how to say no when the output does not match the amount of work. I am very lucky to be on her team!

  2. Paramita is strongest at driving focus and ringing disparate teams together. In bringing a new department into her organization she was immediately focused on how to leverage the strengths of both sides but build a new and stronger organization. She is also good at taking multiple perspectives and driving to an overall solution.
