Roopa brings to Geoforce two decades of leadership in successfully driving business growth through account management, sales, services, support, business development, engineering, and general management at high-growth energy-focused enterprise software providers. At Geoforce, she is responsible for sales, international operations, professional services, and business solutions.

Prior to Geoforce, Roopa served as VP of Global Account Management at Triple Point Technology, the leading provider of in-cloud and on-premise commodity management software for end-to-end commodity and energy value chains. At Triple Point, she built and led a global account management organization that supported more than 350 customers on six continents, delivered services and account planning to ensure customer retention, satisfaction, and reference-ability, and made tremendous contributions in helping Triple Point manage key customers around the world and grow from approximately $20 million to over $180 million in revenue during her tenure from 2002 to 2013.

During the middle part of her career, Roopa held sales and business development roles at high-growth energy-focused software companies. Key roles included stints as Regional VP of Sales for Excelergy, a software provider for the global energy and utility industries, and Business Development Manager for Allegro Development, a provider of risk management and commodity trading software. Roopa spent the first five years of her career as an Equipment Engineer at Texas Instruments, where she started in TI’s Manufacturing Science and Technology Center, and later worked as Section Leader for the plasma etch group’s Kilby Fab.

She holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, a MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from The University of Texas, Austin, and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. In her spare time, Roopa enjoys watching Houston professional sports teams, coaching her boys’ teams and being active in the community.
