  1. Extensive CEO & Leadership Experience: With over 20 years of leadership experience in sales, marketing and executive management at the CEO level, Tim Eades has deep expertise in driving high growth for computing, security and enterprise software (SaaS) companies. He has been the CEO of several companies, including his current position at vArmour, Silver Tail Systems (SaaS security company acquired by RSA) and Everyone.net (SMB focused SaaS company acquired by ProofPoint), and also held sales and marketing executive leadership positions at BEA Systems, Sana Security, Phoenix Technologies and IBM. CEO with track record of Company Growth, Fundraising and Exits: Tim, CEO of vArmour since 2013, successfully led vArmour to its next chapter in 2019 by raising a $44M Series E funding round led by AllegisCyber and NightDragon Security and securing strategic partnerships and integrated offerings with transforming vendors like Microsoft, AWS, VMware, Cisco, Citrix and Symantec. Tim most recently successfully raised $58M in February 2021 in vArmour’s latest round of funding to accelerate company growth in an oversubscribed round led by AllegisCyber Capital and NightDragon, with support from existing investors Standard Chartered Ventures, Highland Capital Partners, Telstra, Redline Capital and EDBI. vArmour has seen strong momentum, doubling net new annual recurring revenue year over year, with a trajectory to exceed that in the next fiscal year. Today, hundreds of companies worldwide rely on vArmour to enable their cloud deployments, given the dynamic, multi-cloud nature of today’s computing environments. Prior to becoming CEO at vArmour, Tim was the CEO at a SaaS security company, Silver Tail Systems from March 2010 until the company was acquired by RSA, the security division of EMC in 2013. Tim joined this Series A venture-funded company as employee number six. Silver Tail had no customers or revenue in March 2010 after 1 year, and were not only cash flow positive but had paying customers with marquee accounts in key verticals – Financial Services, Government and eCommerce. Heralded as a visionary in the industry by Gartner – Silver Tail entered the Magic Quadrant that year for the first time and was considered “the most visionary” of vendors that they reviewed. In 2011, Silver Tail and Tim raised approximately $20M in Series B funding from Andreessen Horowitz and continued to build out a world class management team to take the company to the next level. In 2012, Silver Tail entered the Magic Quadrant as a leader and most visionary and announced major relationships with companies like MasterCard. The company was cash flow positive in 1H 2012, reached 100 people and dominated in the session intelligence market. In October 2012 it was announced that RSA, the security division of EMC had agreed to acquire Silver Tail Systems. This merger further accelerated the fantastic adoption of Silver Tail in the marketplace and drives a more secure internet. Prior to leading Silver Tail Systems, Tim was CEO of Everyone.net, an SMB focused SaaS company that was acquired by Proofpoint. Everyone.net was a leading email hosting company and the trusted small business email and service provider choice for complete Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) messaging solutions.
