Mark Anderson, Chief Executive Officer


Mark Anderson is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alteryx.


Prior to Alteryx, Mark was president of Palo Alto Networks where he and the team grew the company from pre-IPO in 2012 to become one of the largest security companies in the world. Prior to Palo Alto Networks, Mark led sales and go-to-market initiatives at F5 Networks where he was instrumental in driving the company’s long-term, sustained hyper-growth.


For the past two years, Mark also served on the Alteryx Board of Directors. During his tenure on the Alteryx board, Mark played an active role in the company’s operations and strategy. Mark also served as the executive chairman at Avi Networks, a private, multi-cloud ADC innovator in Silicon Valley (acquired by VMWare in 2019), and has served on the board of directors for Cloudflare, Inc. (NYSE: NET) since Aug. 2019.


Earlier in his career, Mark held leadership positions at Cisco Systems and Lucent Technologies. He holds a B.A. in business and economics from York University in Toronto.


Paula Hansen, President and Chief Revenue Officer


Paula Hansen is the president and chief revenue officer (CRO) of Alteryx and is responsible for leading the global go-to-market (GTM) organization, which includes worldwide sales, systems engineering, partners/alliances, marketing, customer success and services, customer support functions and industry-specific GTM initiatives. With more than 25 years of leadership experience with high-growth market expansion, business model evolution, partner ecosystems and customer success, Paula will be instrumental in driving Alteryx into its next phase of growth. Additionally, Paula’s track record of recruiting, hiring and promoting strong leaders across the globe, and building high-performing teams with strong employee engagement, trust, followership and retention will be key as Alteryx continues to scale globally.


Prior to joining Alteryx, Paula was the CRO of SAP Customer Experience where she led the global sales strategy, GTM operations and customer success. Her team served more than 10,000 customers across 150 countries and grew the business to $1 billion of annual recurring revenue in 2020, SAP’s fastest growing cloud portfolio. Before joining SAP in 2019, Paula served as vice president of Cisco’s Global Enterprise organization, a $2B business focused on digital transformation enablement for global enterprise customers across a variety of industries. Paula also served on the board of directors of Qualtrics, the leading provider of experience management (NASDAQ: XM) solutions, from December 2020 to May 2021.


Paula holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.


Suresh Vittal, Chief Product Officer


Kevin Rubin is the chief financial officer (CFO) of Alteryx, responsible for all aspects of its global financial operations, including finance, accounting, tax, treasury, investor relations, corporate development and Alteryx Ventures, and global real estate and workplace services. Kevin brings 20+ years of experience in the industry, leading both public and private technology companies through rapid growth and expansion.


Before joining Alteryx, Kevin was CFO of MSC Software, a private equity-backed software company. Kevin was responsible for managing MSC through significant transitions, including launching and navigating the company’s shift to a subscription-based model. Kevin also led the transformation of financial and business operations to support MSC’s growth as well as strategic activities including debt and recapitalizations transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.


Kevin previously served as CFO for Pictage, a venture-backed software company; DataDirect Networks, a data storage equipment provider; and MRV Communications, a publicly traded telecommunications equipment provider. Kevin started his career at Arthur Andersen as a member of its Technology Practice working with a broad range of small, privately held companies to large, publicly traded organizations. Kevin currently serves on the board of directors of Forum for Corporate Directors (FCD) and Pretend City.


Kevin is a certified public accountant (inactive) in California and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in business economics with an emphasis in accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Dean Stoecker is the co-founder and Executive Chairman of the Board. Dean founded Alteryx in 1997 and led the company as CEO through October 2020, achieving solid organic growth, and a successful IPO in March 2017.


Dean’s leadership and motivational skills, along with his ability to create, communicate, and realize a vision, were a driving force behind the company’s 20+ year success. The company’s performance since going public in 2017 is a direct result of the company’s ability to execute on delivering a transformational experience to customers of all sizes, and Dean’s unique vision and strategy around empowering every worker, regardless of technical acumen, to transform their data into actionable insights and drive meaningful business impact.


Dean serves as advisor to entrepreneurs and is an active philanthropist, creating the Alteryx for Good program to bring the thrill of solving real-world problems to nonprofits, educators, and local communities. Dean is passionate about humanizing the world of data science and analytics, which is evident in the company’s culture, extensive resources for continued education, and efforts to influence social change. Before co-founding Alteryx, Dean held various sales and business leadership roles at Strategic Mapping and Dun & Bradstreet. Dean earned his MBA from Pepperdine University and his undergraduate degree in international business from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
