Previously, Amanda was the Senior Director of Sales Operations for Schoology, which was recently acquired by PowerSchool Group. She started at Schoology in 2015 as a Sales Manager. Before that she worked as an Inside Sales Manager for ZocDoc. Earlier in her career she wored at The Corporate Executive Board and Vocus. Amanda graduated from Union College.
Is able to articulate herself in a positive way to employees, executives and customers. Has coached and grown the entire sales organization at Schoology for the past 3 years. Is able to lead teams to success, mentor younger workers and helps people exceed their full potential. Definitely a strong leader that many young men and women look upto for guidance. Implemented a diverse workspace that communicates and collaborates with each-other. Will always communicate with you on the good or the bad. No matter the situation she is always transparent and will ensure that we have solutions to improve or better the organization.
Amanda has created strong relationships across the company, and has been instrumental at driving the cross-functional teams towards the shared goal of profitability. With her team behind her and the wealth of creative ideas she has generated to continue to power our growth and profitability, Amanda is a unstoppable force and an awesome colleague. She has also established herself as a mentor to all of her colleagues who wish to grow professionally by being transparent about her own struggles and what has gone into her own personal and professional growth.
– Amanda has this incredible ability to hold people to high standards and keep them accountable without micromanaging. It’s hard to pinpoint what exactly she does to achieve this, other than being extremely present, supportive, and leading by example. But I’ve never seen a manager so successfully keep her team where they need to be without ever over stepping her manager role. – Amanda is extremely present, it is wonderful. Every time I meet with Amanda, I can be 100% certain that all of her attention and energy will be on me and our meeting.

The biggest strength of Amanda is in being a strong and impactful leader. She not only makes great business decisions, but also leads by example in all areas of her work. Amanda is an infectious leader that strong minded and successful businesspeople gravitate towards. I joined Schoology on the management team to learn from her example.
