In a nutshell — vision and execution. An experienced marketing and C-Suite executive, Anita recognized how quickly technology was changing the marketing function. Today everything that marketing does is enabled by technology – every marketing email, advertising, direct mail piece, event etc leverages technology. Companies are using as many as 250 pieces of technology at any one time to acquire and engage customers. Anita identified that a platform would be needed to help companies find the technology they need and manage the technology they have. Her company, CabinetM, is a category maker and were the first to market with a marketing technology management platform. She and her co-founder, Sheryl Schultz have built an enterprise-grade platform on very little capital and have secured major brands such as Major League Baseball, Acquia, LogMeIn, Western Governors University and more as customers. She is respectful of her team, leads with transparency, and inspires and excites those around her about the opportunities for innovation.

Anita Brearton began her professional career over 23 years ago. Today, she is the Founder and CEO of CabinetM. CabinetM is the MarTech Stack management platform for enterprise organizations who want to track, document, visualize and report on their marketing technology use and spend.
Brearton first got her start in 1998 as the vice president of corporate marketing at Sycamore Networks.
Brearton graduated from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College with an undergraduate degree in psychology.
