Ben joined BambooHR in 2019 as Co-founder and Co-chairman. BambooHR is the leading software provider powering the strategic evolution of HR in small and medium businesses.Previously, he was a Investor at HWHL and before that a VP at Spark Networks. Earlier in his career he worked with Spark Networks as VP.
He graduated from Brigham Young University with an undergraduate degree in Entrepreneurship.
-Ben did not have a background in human resources his background is deep-rooted in software. Recognizing the need for an HR software that was specifically geared towards the SMB sector and wanting to focus on improving people management for companies, he overcame the steep learning curve and was successful in his investment in HR SaaS. -Ben believes in a culture at all costs model, rather than growth at all costs for his company. Ben started the company with his friend Ryan simply to build a great place to work and a good product they could believe in. Investing in his employees has propelled the company’s growth and profitability in the past decade.
