Dasha is an experience Chief Operating Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry. She joined Solodev nearly ten years ago. Previously she was with Apollo Group and before that, Florida Gas Transmission. Dasha earned a Master of Science in Accountancy and a Master in Business Administration from University of Florida.
As COO of Solodev, Dasha is a formidable leader in the CMS and web development industry. Within the last four years, she’s helped transform Solodev from a regional website builder to an international solution for website development and hosting. Her negotiating prowess helped land Solodev major partnerships and consecutive appearances on Inc. 5000’s fastest growing private companies. Dasha’s business acumen and excellent relational skills keep our clients coming back year after year. She looks for solutions to their problems — not temporary fixes. She’s honest, compassionate, and the hardest worker in any room. Dasha is a tour de force leader who knows how to inspire a team to action. When things go wrong, Dasha helps us work the problem with an unparalleled calm and ease. Dasha encourages our entire team to strive for excellence each day, and she holds us accountable to the high standards we set for ourselves. She also helps other women in technology find success despite just 3% of women in tech holding leadership positions. One of her strongest attributes is a desire to see other female entrepreneurs succeed, and her involvement in local “women in tech” groups is a result of that.
In my time in the professional world, I’ve worked (and, for the most part, interacted) with only a handful of people I consider emblematic of professionalism in all its facets. And when you meet people like that – leaders you can depend on whatever the circumstance – it’s immensely refreshing. Dasha is, I’m happy to say, one of those few. Her strengths, in my every interaction with her, have included: communication (written and verbal), timeliness and follow-through, dedication to the company and every project, respect for our clients, clear intelligence and conscientiousness in problem-solving, and seeming unwillingness to be intimidated by obstacles. I’ve been at Solodev for about 5 months now, but she was so on the ball even in our correspondence beforehand that I could immediately tell – as one usually can – that she excels in all these regards. She’s a joy and an inspiration to work with.
Every single day, Dasha handles Florida’s highest ranked software company with an ease and a grace that would exhaust other executives. Dasha is present and makes herself available despite a rigorous schedule. She handles each client as if they were family, and offers them the same warmth that she encourages in the rest of our staff. Dasha shines as a leader, founder, and entrepreneur in an industry that historically stifles the voices of female leadership.
