Before founding the company, he spent a decade generating hundreds of millions of dollars in growth consulting some of the web’s most sophisticated companies. Founded in 2014, Hotjar is a 100% distributed company with 170 team members across 33 countries and is used on over 900,000 sites worldwide.

  1. David is that sort of boss you always wish you had in any other job. He gets involved at every level of the company- nothing is beneath him, and he “gets his hands dirty” like the rest of us. He is compassionate and strategic with every devision he makes and I’ve never met anyone who is as intelligent as he is, but makes you feel like you are on the same level in every situation.

His ability to put things into perspective makes it really easy to talk about things and offer feedback. Has a clear vision of where he wants Hotjar to go.
