The company’s mission is to democratize privacy—meaning to make it affordable for everyone who needs it. This is achieved by automating the process of finding personal profiles on over 100 data broker sites, deleting these unauthorized profiles and then monitoring these sites to prevent your private data from re-appearing. 2. Dimitri has strong technical and marketing skills which helped him to build a fully independent successful company in a competitive and crowded space. OneRep bootstrapped to profitability and never took investors money. 3. Dimitri is an inspirational leader who succeeded in building a strong team of professionals who are passionate about what they do. The team is driven by its mission and proud to help so many people to protect their privacy and live safer lives.

   As an external contractor working with OneRep, it’s easy to see why Mr. Shelest’s team is so loyal and the company so successful. Dimitri truly embodies the emotional intelligence modern leaders should possess and the technical savvy to position his company as the benchmark in cybersecurity that other companies have compared themselves to. Should Dimitri win the Top Cybersecurity CEO title from The Software Report, it will be much deserved and should serve to inspire other leaders in the space to a similar level of excellence.

   Technical & marketing skills – Customer focus – True team leader Dimitri understands true customer needs and motivations and comes up with brilliant product and marketing ideas. I feel like I have grown as a professional under his leadership, in really understanding how to put the customer first. Dimitri is a great communicator. He knows how to find the right words to motivate, instruct and redirect people in an effective yet very caring way.

   It’s great to have a leader who is multifaceted. Not only does he understand the tech end of things and how to build great products that serve our consumers, but he also has a good head for marketing and I feel under his leadership, we are able to maximize marketing impact while not spending a ton.

   It speaks to great leadership that the company never took in outside investment yet was profitable within 6 months of founding. This is quite an unusual story and I give OneRep as an example to my friends who also work at startups that it CAN be done!

   We’ve all had managers that make you feel like their way is the only way. Dimitri is not one of those people. It’s incredibly rewarding to work under someone who actually values fresh ideas and perspectives and communicates that way to his team.
