Elizabeth Edwards, President, Global Site Network and a member of Bioclinica's executive management team, leads a multi-faceted organization comprising the Bioclinica Research Network with a geographic footprint spanning the U.S., Europe, Latin America and Asia, as well as the Company's Patient Recruitment and Post-Approval Research business. As an accomplished executive in end-to-end pharmaceutical research and development, Elizabeth is well-equipped for the role. She has extensive scientific and clinical experience and has contributed substantially to numerous drug approvals within Oncology, Musculoskeletal, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Immunology, and other therapeutic areas. Prior to joining Bioclinica, Elizabeth was with global contract research organization Chiltern International where she played a key role in advancing the clinical research of oncology biopharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. W

hile there, as senior vice president of Oncology for project management and clinical operations in Europe and North America, she coordinated and led a 1,000+ member team, including Oncology directors of project management, project managers, clinical trial leaders, and clinical trial associates spread across 47 countries. At Chiltern she achieved significant growth and operational excellence for North America and Europe. Earlier, Elizabeth was with Novella Clinical where she was executive vice president of global operations, and managing director of Europe during which time she led an international team of clinical staff and increased sustainable global field productivity by 30 percent.

Prior to this, Elizabeth founded and managed a successful private clinical development consulting firm, Edwards Pharmaceutical Research, where she managed successful drug development for biotech companies by orchestrating new drug filing strategies and clinical development processes. Preceding this, Elizabeth was senior director in clinical development for Inspire Pharmaceuticals, primarily responsible for delivery of their Cystic Fibrosis programs. Early in her career, Elizabeth was a clinical research scientist assigned to GSK studies in the areas of Oncology, Rheumatology, Immunology, Gastroenterology, Pain and Urology. Elizabeth has a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Medicine, Psychology from the University of Virginia.
