  1. Eric has nearly 30 years of experience driving growth for software companies. At Emburse, Eric is responsible for driving the overall strategic direction of the organization, from customer expansion, to new market growth and product direction. Eric took the helm at the start of 2020 as Emburse was officially rebranded following the merger of six different companies. He galvanized the company around a clear and inspiring mission to “Humanize Work,” making people’s lives easier by automating manual tasks (from processing expenses, invoices, and payments) and saving users time so they can focus on what matters most — more strategic work, their family, and their communities. It takes a leader with courage, deep industry knowledge, and unique communication skills to unify geographically dispersed and diverse business units into one cohesive organization focused on our customers — and Eric embodies these leadership qualities. In a challenging year and within a highly competitive market, Emburse persevered under Eric’s leadership. The company achieved double-digit growth, delivered new platform-wide product and service capabilities, and significantly expanded its global footprint. Today, Emburse serves more than 16,000 customers and 9 million users in over 120 countries. Emburse is recognized as a leader in expense management and accounts payable automation by analyst firm IDC, and has received multiple awards for its high levels of customer satisfaction and success in delivering business value. Eric credits the company’s success to the passionate and dedicated employees at Emburse. He believes that as individuals, each person can contribute significantly but as a group, they can achieve exponentially more. Prior to Emburse, Eric served as Global Head of Commercial, SMB and Growth Markets for Marketo, a division of Adobe. Before joining Marketo, he was SVP and General Manager for SAP’s North American mid-market and ecosystems division. Earlier in his career, Eric had sales, technical, and general management leadership positions at SAP Concur, Business Objects, and Information Builders.
