Garry M. Shiffman is the CEO and Chair of the Board of Giant Oak Inc. He first joined the company in 2006. At Giant Oak, we see data differently. We look behind the numbers to see individuals and communities. We seek to observe and describe the world, and we take advantage of data generation, storage, aggregation and visualization of technologies available. Our goal is to do our part to make the world a better, freer, and more secure place.

Previously, Shiffman was a managing director at The Chertoff Group and before that an SVP and general manager of risk management solutions at L3 Technologies.

Shiffman earned a Ph.D. in economics and an MA in security studies from George Mason University and an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
