He is a member of the company’s Board of Directors and is responsible for the company’s vision, global strategy, and day-to-day operations. In this role, he leads the critical emergence of the company as a foremost global leader in the enterprise frontline collaboration category. His focus is on accelerating Orion’s leading market position and global growth. Orion is the leading voice-first, intelligent platform that empowers deskless workers by enabling real-time team collaboration, process automation, location mapping, and access to enterprise systems to improve workforce productivity, safety and compliance, and customer engagement. In 2020, Taylor’s leadership led Orion to mark 250% growth in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) year-over-year, 400% growth in prospect pipeline, and 12x growth in subscription commitment. Last year, Taylor also led Orion through ad $29 million Series B funding round and oversaw Orion’s continued investment in its category-leading platform with 16 new patents granted. Taylor has positioned Orion to capitalize on the growing market demand for Orion’s collaboration platform as industries like security, retail, energy, manufacturing, transportation, and hospitality, among others, realize the need to include their deskless workforce in digital transformation initiatives. Taylor is a veteran executive in building high-growth companies and entrepreneur in enterprise technology. Prior to Orion, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of global SaaS leaders HighQ (acquired by Thomson Reuters) Eka Solutions Inc., and notably served as the Executive Vice President of Triple Point Technology, the global leader for in-cloud commodities management software. At Triple Point, Taylor built his reputation for leading high-growth companies. Taylor drove the company’s record software industry-leading 5x revenue and earnings growth over seven consecutive years. He led the successful global expansion strategy, integrated eight acquisitions, and grew the company to 16 global offices, 450 marquee corporate customers on six continents, over 900 employees as well as to seven consecutive INC 500 awards. In the summer of 2013, he and his two partners completed the successful sale of Triple Point to ION, in one of the largest enterprise software deals of the year.
