  1. Isabelle’s focus is on high growth across the EMEA market, increasing Okta’s digital footprint, scaling demand generation, growth in existing European countries and expansion into new geos. Ultimately the goal is to deliver pipeline to the EMEA sales organisation. There are now six core marketing functions, each with a lead reporting into Isabelle. The pandemic has caused Isabelle to shield for over a year, only months into taking a key role at Okta; a company with significant growth ambitions, but only a skeleton team covering few of the core marketing functions and minimal marketing infrastructure. She strategically led a team during a crisis, driving rapid expansion and increasing marketing pipeline contribution by 25%. Putting in place the people, process and technology foundations, Isabelle grew her team by 240% during the pandemic. Okta had only been trading in EMEA for a few years when Isabelle joined. It had a good foundation but the company ambition for growth was high and there was significant work to do to ensure Marketing delivered in line with this. Her focus was on delivering Marketing’s contribution to pipeline. In order to do that Isabelle had to do three things simultaneously: start building a team, establish the essential processes required to deliver leads and lead visibility and get the marketing funnel moving, fast. Isabelle’s key strengths are: adaptability, innovation and endurance.
