Javier Perea began his professional career 31 years ago. Today, he is the CEO of Smart Protection. Smart Protection keeps and protects intellectual and industrial property rights online.

Perea first got his start in 1990 as a co-founder and CEO at Anyware Seguridad Informatica. From there, he went on to McAfee, before eventually rising to vice president of intel security group at Intel Corporation, his most recent position prior to joining Smart Protection.

Perea graduated from Instituto de Empresa with an MBA and from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid with an undergraduate degree in economics and business.
