Joseph Fung is an entrepreneur that resides in Waterloo, ON. His ventures include Simple Machines Forum, Lewis Media, OnMyBlock.ca and most recently, TribeHR. He is a graduate of the University of Waterloo's Computer Engineering program and is an active volunteer in the community.Joseph has a commitment to Corporate Citizenship and a belief that business is accountable to employees, customers, shareholders and the community. He co-Founded Lewis Media Inc., a web development and software development firm, Simple Machines Forum, an open source software development project, and OnMyBlock.ca Ltd., an online permission based marketing company.
A graduate of Leadership Waterloo Region, Joseph’s professional interests include user business and NFP governance, interface design, web strategy, software development, and all things high-tech.
Joseph does an incredible job engaging with his team, customers and his audience in general. He provides real value with every post or speaking engagement and never shared, posts or speaks with promotion as his main goal. He is one of the few leaders who promotes and follows through on their message of diversity, inclusion and a people first culture.
