Kharen Hauck leads the company’s Demand Generation team, collaborates on Phreesia’s marketing growth strategies and executes campaigns. She also oversees the implementation of marketing technology tools that provide quantitative and qualitative feedback on campaign performance.

Prior to joining Phreesia, Kharen held senior account management positions at both media strategy and full-service creative agencies, specializing in life sciences. She is a graduate of West Chester University.

  1. Kharen is genuinely one of the biggest assets at Phreesia, she cares so much about the organization and the people she works with that she can do everything. She gives 1000% to her projects, developing her team, mentoring others, and just being a great colleague. It is really her dedication that sets her apart from others. Kharen is someone who leads by example in ways I have never seen before. She is open about the challenges she’s faced in her career, which give me, and many others, the courage to try new things and push forward new ideas. Personally, I was introduced to her by my boss at Phreesia in my first week here, and she, in our first meeting quickly established herself as someone I could look up to as well as consider a friend. She’s reliable, always makes time for people, and truly treats everyone from the CEO to the interns with the same level of respect for their ideas and processes. However, that doesn’t stop her from getting things done well and on-time. She is known for her effective project management techniques, and not only being able to implement them herself, but rolling them out in a collaborative way to other teams. This makes her a trustworthy person who the organization consistently relies on to accomplish big, new initiatives.

  2. Kharen is the prototype senior marketing & demand generation executive. Kharen produced Phreesia’s successful NYSE IPO on July 18th, 2019. The biggest event in our company’s history, she made us look like a billion dollar business, though we are a fraction of that size (for now). All internal & external communications, outreach collateral, media engagements, event coordination & board of director itineraries. All on a shoestring budget. I cannot emphasize the total home run she produced for us all. Just check out Phreesia’s Instagram in July’19. Or Google Image Phreesia IPO. Kharen also led our go-to-market strategy for yet another year of >20% YOY revenue growth. She guided sales development scripts, presentation materials, social media presence, webinar content & public speaking engagements. Kharen oversaw >25 early career program hiring fairs @ selected colleges nationwide. 70% of our sales organization was hired through her early career outreach & onboarding programs, helping us achieve record sales efficiency figures & bookings growth. We simply would not be the size or success we have now realized without Kharen. She is my sales organization’s preeminent arms dealer.

  3. Kharen was one of the first people to welcome me with open arms in my new position when I started with Phreesia. She is in a perpetual good mood and helps brighten the day of anyone she interacts with. She is a strong, passionate and intelligent woman who I count myself luck to work with. She always is there to lend a helping hand, a word of encouragement or just to have a good conversation with. I have worked closely with Kharen on many projects and it has been an absolute pleasure each and every time. She is not only extraordinary at her job, but a wonderful person as well. She is kind, caring and approachable.   4. I have yet to meet someone else with as much integrity as Kharen. From every strategy meeting to every casual conversation, she upholds the company’s values, her team’s and her own. This makes it easy to look up to her with respect and means that she has become someone who’s opinions are highly valued throughout the organization. Kharen’s energy and drive are incomparable, as she works tirelessly to guide us toward our strategic goals and never hesitates to roll up her sleeves to join us in the trenches when the need arises.   5. Kharen’s key strength is operational excellence. She took over the Demand Gen team at Phreesia a few years ago and gave it a complete overhaul. She implemented an infrastructure to manage and track all the work her team is responsible for providing and set a new standard for holding her team accountable. Before her, the team often didn’t meet commitments or turned away requests. With Kharen, nothing falls through the cracks and that team produces significantly more output at a higher level of quality. We wouldn’t have been able to scale and grow at the rate we have without her. Kharen demands a lot from her team and other functional stakeholders, but she is also great at acknowledging hard work. She will often give public praise or small tokens of gratitude after the team finishes large projects.

  6. Kharen is an incredibly hard worker and team leader. She delivers 150% every day at Phreesia and sets a standard of excellence across the company. I have worked under her on the Demand Gen team for two years and grown leaps and bounds in my role as a marketing specialist, becoming a much more efficient, nimble and strong project manager, thanks to her influence. She is the first to sign on in the morning and the last to sign off, often overseeing more than two dozen projects and ensuring each one delivers on its promise and brings value to the company. Under Kharen’s leadership, our team helped market Phreesia throughout its very successful IPO this summer. She is a dynamite healthcare marketing, sales, business and events professional and without a doubt, a Top Woman in SaaS.

  8. I report to Kharen Hauck as an Events Manager for Phreesia. Although she personally has five direct reports, there is never a day that she does not make time for me. She is always responsive and devotes her full attention to anyone she is meeting with. Kharen truly cares about the company and her team. She wants each individual on her team to succeed and is committed to helping develop our careers. She is a passionate person and never does anything half way, always making sure that the outcome is the best it could be. Kharen is a very confident woman with a positive attitude.
