Laura Behrens Wu is the Founder of Shippo. She first joined the company in 2014 as founder. Shippo is a shipping platform that helps e-commerce companies manage their shipping operations more seamlessly.
Previously, Wu was a customer acquisition at LendUp and before that a business analyst at Harvard College Consulting Group. Earlier in her career she worked with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH as an NGO.
Wu earned an MBA from Universität St. Gallen-Hochschule für Wirtschafts-, Rechts- und Sozialwissenschaften and an undergraduate degree from the University of St.Gallen.
Laura consistently advocates for Shippo’s customers and employees at the same time, never an easy balancing act. Through her leadership, Shippo has secured two funding rounds in just the last four months, taking us to a $1B valuation with $95M raised over those two rounds. She is able to deftly tell a story about our company to investors and share that same story with employees to get us excited about our company future and continue to grow the team. With plans to significantly increase our headcount this year, her commitment to culture will continue to play an important role in our company success.
