Leigh Dow’s mission is to deliver transformational marketing for brands navigating strategic inflection points. She’s a change agent focused on what’s next, seeking out new ideas, and leading efforts to accelerate growth, build new business and increase brand value. Throughout her Fortune 100 career, she’s built a reputation as an information architect known for her nonlinear approach using critical thinking, intuition, and experimentation to deliver a more imaginative solution to a problem. Leigh employs lateral thinking to make connections between completely unrelated fields, leading to the generation of ideas that transcend existing structures.
Leigh holds an MBA specialized in Technology Management and a BS in Geopolitical Strategy. She is a Board Member of the Public Relations Society of America Phoenix Chapter. Leigh has received numerous accolades for her leadership, entrepreneurship, and community involvement and is a 2018-2021 Business Journal Mentor and a Phoenix Business Journal 2018 Outstanding Women in Business honoree. Most recently, she was named as a 2020 Phoenix Business Journal Most Admired Leader honoree.
Leigh Dow’s background, experience, character, and commitment to marketing is unparalleled. Leigh brings more than 20 years of marketing, branding, and public relations leadership to Identiv, 14 of those in the Fortune 100, yet she thrives on rolling up her sleeves to get the job done. She started her career in government affairs, working for the Governor of Florida’s press office and then-US Senator Bob Graham. At Honeywell, Leigh was the Global Service Delivery Design Director, designing product go-to-market programs and the customer support experience. Prior to that, she was the Aerospace eCommerce Director, where she led the $1B Aerospace online sales channel and online marketing. She began working in the tech industry at Intel, managing immigration and Department of State in government affairs, and then marketing and public relations at Intel, including product marketing, event marketing, online marketing, and other marketing campaigns and programs. In 2011, Leigh founded and built a multimillion-dollar agency, consistently named one of the top 20 marketing firms in Arizona. She was a 2018 Phoenix Business Journal Outstanding Women in Business honoree and was just announced as a 2020 Phoenix Business Journal Most Admired Leader honoree. She’s a member of the Phoenix Business Journal Leadership Trust and the National Small Business Administration Leadership Council. Leigh has won 23 American Marketing Association Spectrum Awards and 8 Public Relations Society of America Copper Anvil Awards. Leigh holds an MBA specialized in Technology Management and a BS in Political Science with a focus on geopolitical strategy. At this point, you might be asking if there is anything that she cannot do — as it turns out, she also loves to cook.
Leigh has that rare balance of brand creativity and lead-focused metrics-driven marketing. She invests in deep understanding of end users’ challenges and goals, and matches messages between products and users’ goals. She takes the time to understand the dynamics within the market and to build messaging and positioning that are accessible and relevant. As a leader she’s inspiring and has an unwavering commitment to results. Her background across semiconductors, systems, aerospace and many engagements from building her own marketing firm has given her some of the greatest depth and breadth in the industry. Her skills particularly in digital marketing are deep, enabling her to lead as well as coach at hands-on levels, creating world class teams and business results.
