  1. Lisa is an experienced SaaS executive with more than 20 years of leadership experience, a decade of which has been spent scaling SaaS companies. Not only does she have deep SaaS domain expertise (particularly within the ecommerce industry), but she has an unrelenting, customer-first mentality that appeals to merchants, partners and colleagues alike. Having served as CEO at data management platform Umbel and CMO at Bazaarvoice, a consumer-generated content platform that she helped take public in 2012, Lisa innately understands the business requirements necessary to scale a SaaS company. Beyond her business acumen, Lisa is an inspiring leader to work with. She has two primary platforms she supports: Growing and developing entrepreneurs, which she has done through various levels of mentorship and participation in Austin’s tech accelerator Capital Factory, Entrepreneurs Foundation and The Dream Come True Foundation. Furthermore, Lisa is a staunch advocate of diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Having been the lone female on a company’s executive team on several occasions, she has a POV that comes from a personal place. In order to help move the needle on inclusion, Lisa is on the Steering Committee for Austin 100’s Diversity & Inclusion effort. She is also a frequent public speaker on this topic and earlier in the year instigated a 60/60 personal challenge where every day for sixty days, she did something that would support this cause. According to BigCommerce CEO Brent Bellm, Lisa is unquestionably one of the top marketers, and leaders, in technology. After successful stints as CMO at Bazaarvoice and CEO at Umbel, she joined BigCommerce and made an immediate impact. Lisa has a unique ability to instantly connect with others, drive to clarity amidst complexity, and execute with confidence. I, her peers, and our board have been blown away by how quickly she has transformed our marketing organization and the strategic contributions she’s guiding with other functions.
