Lou Rabon is the Founder and CEO of Cyber Defense Group. He first joined the company in 2016 as founder and CEO. Cyber Defense Group specializes in cloud security and cyber security services, enabling agile businesses to operate at speed. They protect their clients from cyber criminals, and we create robust security programs which can withstand current and future threats.
Previously, Rabon was a chief information security officer at Unitas Global and before that a contractor at Fidelis Cybersecurity. Earlier in his career he worked with Lazard Freres as a trading floor support project management.
Rabon earned an undergraduate degree from Florida State University.
Lou is a strong, steadfast CEO with 20+ years of experience in cybersecurity and leading a team. His magnetic, generous personality has created a gratifying work environment for his small team of employees where a true his team work-life balance is his priority. He weathered the COVID storm by ensuring he had a phased approach to the company’s retraction, ensuring the employees were taken care of first. He leads by example and lives by extreme ownership; his demeanor is emulated by others around him. He is constantly looking for more efficient and effective ways to improve CDG and has built a culture based on trust, freedom, collaboration, and socializing. He believes missions are accomplished by taking care of his team.
