With an affinity for entrepreneurism & leadership, coupled with expertise on fintech & payments innovation, Michael has led AvidXchange to equip customers with the right products to implement accounts payable and payment automation, eliminating paper invoices & paper checks, and increasing visibility into financials. He's had the opportunity share his journey & the AvidXchange story speaking at various industry conferences like Money 20/20. His dedication to developing creative solutions for mid-sized companies to grow their businesses, increase revenue and drive efficiencies has positioned Michael as a thought leader in the industry and led to opportunities with Forbes, Authority Magazine, Business Insider Inc. and The Wall Street Journal.

Michael’s definition of success is “pursuing your passion.” His career is a reflection of how he has pursued his passion & how he’s achieved success in doing so. Before establishing AvidXchange, he was Co-Founder of PlanetResume.com, a technology career enhancement and recruiting site, and Co-Founder and CEO of InfoLink Partners, a software company specializing in automating the tax billing & collection functions for municipalities. Michael also served as an Associate with Summit Partners, a Boston-based Venture Capital firm.

Michael remains active in organizations like the Young Presidents Organization, serves on the advisory board of the North Carolina Technology Association & is board member of Charlotte City Center Partners, Kare Partners and E2D.
