Mohan Giridharadas began his professional career 30 years ago. Today, he is the Founder and CEO of LeanTaaS. LeanTaaS is a software company that uses advanced data science to significantly improve the operational performance of hospitals and clinics.
Giridharadas first got his start in 1991 as a senior partner at McKinsey & Company.
Giridharadas graduated from Stanford University with an MBA, from Georgia Institute of Technology with an MSc and from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay with an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering.
Mohan is an inclusive and creative leader who puts his employees first. Through his 11+ years at LeanTaaS, he’s not only had the skill set to build relationships and bring on hospitals and health systems as life-long customers, but he has built a culture of transparency. Mohan holds all hands meetings where he shares details around the company’s progress, both good and bad, and gives employees the chance to ask questions through an open anonymous Q&A forum. Aside from his strength as a leader, he is amongst the top Lean experts in the world and now has adopted his learnings to a SaaS product for a critical industry that was hit hard this year – healthcare. Another differentiator under Mohan’s leadership is the innovative Restricted Stock Units (RSU) program which is very rare in the start-up world and gives employees the chance to really share the ownership of the company.
