Parul Sharma is the Chief Commercial Officer of Viedoc. She joined the company in 2021. Viedoc has united scientists and clinical trial professionals in a shared mission of pushing life-changing research forward.
Previously, Parul was a Chief Growth Officer of Bannerflow and Besedo. She was responsible for leading the Company on growth strategy and execution as it transitions from a primarily service orientation to being product centric. She spearheaded both the drive towards new offerings to existing markets as well as ensuring existing offerings reach newer markets. Prior to Besedo, Parul was the Chief Revenue Officer at Hansoft (now Perforce), where she more than doubled the growth of the company for three consecutive years.
Parul was also instrumental in executing the go-to-market strategy and attaining product-market fit for Favro, a SaaS planning and collaboration app. Originally from India, she has been living in Sweden for more than 10 years. Parul’s sales career led to her traveling the globe while learning about cultural nuances of countries from Japan to the United States. She believes these experiences have helped her understand people better and become a more effective leader. Parul earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Brand Management.
The key reason I have chosen to work for Parul twice in two different roles in two different companies is because of Parul’s commitment to the team, her ability to understand your own strengths and weaknesses and help you improve and her ability to get the whole organization engaged in the matter. I have worked for a number of CCOs and sales managers however Parul’s ability to get things done while expecting fair performance based on actual possible goals (based on market, budget, customer base, product vs market fit) make her my favorite boss.
Parul is a data driven leader with exceptionally good communication skills which come in handy while solving complex business challenges. Her ability to keep her calm and poise and think rationally through extremely challenging business situations are really commendable which make her a true leader. Her employees look up to her and love working for her since she treats them well, develops them and has them working on the right priorities based on their strengths and interests.
Parul is an inspiring dedicated leader who takes on any challenge with an ambition and drive. She knows how to handle and lead highly diverse international teams and unite them towards the same goal. With her creative solution-oriented mindset and genuine efforts to achieve the best results possible, she is also one of the most humble and energetic people I know.
