Peter Chen is the Co-founder and CEO of Covariant.ai. Covariant is building a universal AI that allows robots to see, reason and act on the world around them. Chen has 9 years in the computer software industry. He began his career in 2014.
Before joining Covariant.ai, Chen was a research scientist at OpenAI and before that a co-founder at Sellegit Inc.
Chen graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Ph.D. and an undergraduate degree in computer science and statistics.
Peter has great vision for what AI Robotics can do and confidence that his team can build it. He motivates people to innovate and think outside the box. He is also very self-aware and surrounds himself with complementary talent which helps produce an even stronger team.
