Ratan Tipirneni began his professional career 27 years ago. Today, he is the President & CEO of Tigera. Tigera empowers organizations to secure, observe, and troubleshoot containers, Kubernetes, and cloud.
Tipirneni first got his start in 1994 as a senior product manager at Sun Microsystems. From there, he went on to PersonalMD.com (SaaS), before eventually rising to SVP & GM of cloud business at Actifio, his most recent position prior to joining Tigera.
Tipirneni graduated from Louisiana State University with an MS in computer science and from Osmania University with an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering.
Ratan Tipirneni has extensive experience incubating, building and scaling software businesses from early stage to hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. He is also a proven leader with a track record of building world-class teams. At Tigera, Ratan is responsible for defining strategy, execution and scaling revenues.
