Customer obsession is one of Sandi’s superpowers; one that she honed in her time at Amazon. Today, Skilljar powers education efforts at over 300 companies, including Slack, Tableau, Verizon, U-Haul, Outreach, and Zendesk. Sandi’s leadership has not been limited to Skilljar alone; she has also been instrumental in establishing the Customer Education discipline. This is a discipline that’s become business-critical for technology companies, especially in light of the recent, dramatic increase of remote work. As Skilljar adapts to our new normal, Sandi has been an inspirational and supportive leader in guiding the employees and the company through this transition.    Since co-founding Skilljar in 2013, Sandi has led the company to the apex of the customer education category. Today, Skilljar is trusted by companies such as Cisco, Tableau, Slack, Verizon, Outreach, Procore, and hundreds of other fast-growing companies for accelerating product adoption and deepening customer engagement. Sandi led the early Skilljar team through a series of product development pivots and a tough period of “ramen profitability” before securing seed funding from Trilogy Equity Partners in September 2015. In 2018, Sandi spearheaded a $16.4 million round of Series A financing and boldly asked the two investors – Mayfield and Shasta Ventures – to co-invest and work together. Sandi exemplifies dedication, perseverance, and mentorship and leads by example. She is fearless in the face of adversity and holds a steadfast commitment to excellence in all facets of the business.
