An experienced internet executive and passionate entrepeneur, Sharat Sharan is the cofounder, President and Chief Executive Officer of ON24 Inc., where he leads a global team of over 400 employees on a mission to help businesses of all sizes and industries succeed through data-driven engagement marketing. For the 15 years, Sharan has built ON24 into industry's leading webinar marketing provider, guiding the company through its strategic pivot to an SaaS platform and accelerating its revenue growth year over year.

Today, the company engagement marketing platform empowers over 2,000 organizations to deliver 120,000 webinars annually, engages nearly 20 million of their prospects, customers and employees for a total of one billion minutes per year and translate that engagement into meaningful behavioral data. Previously, Sharat served as Vice Precident of Hearst New Media and Technology, as well as the group Vice President of Hearst New Media Group, developing the firm's innovation agenda and digital strategy to move its portfolio online. Before Hearst, Sharat was in executive roles at AT&T Wireless Systems during mobility's nascent stage and began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories.
