  1. Sherry Lowe is unparalleled in her ability to build strong teams and lead them to success on the global scale. She isn’t afraid to let her passion shine through in everything she does, masterfully walking the line between the latest enterprise technology and driving marketing initiatives. She helped build the marketing team at Splunk from the ground up, and was a major contributor to creating such a successful IPO at the company. She has brought the same focus and dedication to Druva as she works to build a marketing team, increase brand awareness, and ultimately driving another successful company. One of Sherry’s strongest leadership qualities is her creativity – she can take any problem, even if it’s one the team has seen many times before and find a new, creative way to tackle it. This has already been on display with the way Druva approached VMWorld, increasing its presence dramatically compared to the past several years and making the company a major attendee at the show.

  2. 15 years ago Sherry was a great sports anchor with an ABC affiliate in Florida. A move to California resulted in a dramatic career change to a professional position in a marketing organization of a growing silicon valley company. Sherry’s strength as a writer and communicator in TV allowed to transition to the world of marketing where she grew over the years from a staff marketing person to the CMO of Druva. She did this not only because of great writing and communicating skills but because of her strength in working with customers, executives and peers in all areas of business. She has managed teams with high performing people she has chosen and led with firm but fair direction. In her role as CMO for Druva she has accepted the new challenges for establishing the marketing strategy and implementation for this great company. Sherry has also been a leader in her community supporting girls soccer and her children’s schools.

  3. High LQ and EQ, fair, trustworthy, visionary, wise beyond her time, she just knew how to get great work out of her people. Candid. She didn’t tolerate any form of bad behavior so people who work for her treat other with respect and dignity. If you get that part right, you can get all parts right. She built a 70 person corporate marketing team at Splunk before she became CMO at Druva. People LOVED working for Sherry and were really sad when she resigned. Was one of the hardest leader exits I’ve ever seen b/c people just didn’t want her to go. She kept a stable ship and created a culture of excellence and high-performance. She kept people motivated on the work and inspired us weekly. She was focused and kept her eye on the ball. No nonsense leader. I miss working for her daily.
