Silvia joined XWiki in 2018 as Cloud Business Manager; Country Manager – XWiki Romania. XWiki SAS is a French company created in 2004 whose founding members initiated the XWiki Open Source community.
Previously, she was a Yoterra at Product Marketing Manager & Office Manager.
Silvia Macovei has been in our company for 10 years now and has held many position, growing to take the leadership of XWiki’s SAAS offering. Her strengths are the ability to analyze and make decisions based on data and very strong project management capabilities. She has put in place analytics of our SAAS business and setup marketing plans based on this, as well as the development plan for priorizing the SAAS solution’s development. Before running our SAAS business, Silvia Macovei help many positions at XWiki including managing and growing our subsidiary in Iasi, Romania. She is a high talent in the Romania Tech business, in a country were many talented women are growing the tech industry. I believe recognizing a women tech talent in Romania is important.
