I believe Steve’s key strength is how he encourage people to be positive in every situation that comes along. Before I joined the company, Steve and I had a meeting because I’m not sure if leaving my old company was a smart move and because we were already in a economic situation where almost every company is closing or letting go of their employees because of the pandemic. Steve told me that the situation might still get worst and it’s happening everywhere but we all must look for opportunity that opens up and believe that it will lead you to better result if you will work hard and smart.
Steve is a very professional yet friendly CEO I’ve ever met. I am more than blessed for having Steve as our CEO. (Short story follows).. Way back when I was just a newly hire in Pro Source and I am the 1st hire on their new client. He always dropped by at our room to catch up with me, asked me how was I doing in my new role. I’m so proud of him, how he got in touch with his employees. I think that’s one of the key strengths of a best leader.
Everybody defines leadership differently but I really like the way John C Maxwell defines leadership, “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.” Steve is a good example of a leader doing what it takes to meet both corporate objectives as well as meet the needs of the employees. Steve has a futuristic vision and knows how to turn his ideas into real-world success stories.
Down to earth, adaptive and understands the needs of people specially in this time of crisis and acts upon it. He is willing to invest on people and ensures that their needs are covered. I am new here to be honest and I am shocked at how generous and supportive the company is in comparison to other larger well established institutions.
Steve is people oriented and gives high value to his employees. Even at his level he would go out of his way to reach out and help his employees especially whenever they are in need. He always make sure the comfort of working and giving the best culture environment for the employees to enjoy working in the company.
Steve has been very hands on even to rank & file employees and even extending help for us and ensuring that we are working at our best condition as possible. He is also concern about our welfare making us work from home during this pandemic and providing us with the resources needed.
