Sunil Patro is the Founder and CEO of SignEasy. He first joined the company in 2010 as founder and CEO. SignEasy is the easiest and fastest way to sign and send documents for signature from your phone, tablet and computer.

Previously, Patro was a senior product manager at Cleartrip and before that a senior software engineer at Eyecon Technologies. Earlier in his career he worked with Microsoft as a software design engineer.

Patro earned a master’s degree in computer engineering from Purdue University and an undergraduate degree in technology, electronics and communication from the Indian Institute of Technology.



  1. Sunil founded SignEasy in 2010 with a simple goal in mind: to enable people to sign important documents from anywhere in the world, at any time. The idea came to him when he needed to sign a job offer while on vacation on a remote beach in Mexico and he did not have a way to complete the task from his smartphone. Therefore, he decided to be the designer of his own solution. Under his leadership, Sunil has been able to build SignEasy from the ground-up, completely bootstrapped. He has turned the eSignature platform into millions of dollars in revenue due to an intense focus on a strong internal culture, constant innovation, and strategic partnerships. When SignEasy launched in the App Store, it was the first eSignature app built for mobile, helping usher in a new era of convenience for consumers and businesses. As customer needs evolved and new devices came to market, Sunil continued to be the driving force behind the brand’s innovative new products and offerings, such as native integrations for Google Workspace, Office 365, Dropbox, and more. Ultimately, SignEasy’s culture of collaboration is a reflection of Sunil’s outlook. The SignEasy team is greater than the sum of its individual parts. It’s “us,” not “I.” If something doesn’t work out, everyone takes responsibility. And when it does, it’s a communal win, and we celebrate together.
