Susana De Abrew is the Chief Strategy Officer of Foxit Software, Inc. She first joined the company in 2016 as vice president. Foxit is a leading software provider of fast, affordable and secure PDF solutions.
Previously, De Abrew was a founder and chief operating officer at Debenu and before that a technical services manager at Catalent Pharma Solutions. Earlier in her career she worked with Reheiss Pharmaceuticals as a research analyst.
De Abrew earned an undergraduate degree in pharmacology from London Metropolitan University, and an undergraduate degree in business and marketing in healthcare from Technological University Dublin.
Susana De Abrew has overseen sales, marketing and strategy as Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Foxit SDK BU & Debenu’s COO. Susana’s leadership has produced annual revenue growth of up to 89%, and Debenu has secured such clients as American Airlines, Bank of America, Disney, General Motors, Hewlett Packard, IBM, the US Departments of Defense and Energy, the U.S District Courts, Samsung, Brother, Xerox, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Penguin, Pearson Publishing, Random House, US Bank, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Melbourne City Council Australia, UnitedHealth Group and Microsoft. She brings 15 years experience from Corporate Pharmaceutical in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand as a US FDA regulations specialist with core competencies in IT systems implementation and validation. Susana’s background informed the development of a product purpose-built to facilitate submission compliance in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, Acrobat plug-in Debenu PDF Aerialist Pharma. Building on existing relationships with Samsung and others, Susana is currently leading the charge to see Foxit SDK & Quick PDF Library adopted as the SDK of choice for developers looking to mobilize their PDF applications with Android and iOS.
