Taunia Kipp is the President of Competitive Velocity, build and execute marketing, go-to-market, product marketing, media relations, industry analyst and investor relations strategies based on a comprehensive understanding of a business or industry’s competitive landscape and identifiable competitive advantages with specialty in B2B technologies, SaaS and IT offerings.
Taunia Kipp was Kaseya’s global corporate marketing communications. As executive vice president, she drives the development and execution of global marketing initiatives, corporate strategy and awareness, community engagement, brand management and brand reputation, and the development of communication pillars to key stakeholders of the organization, such as media, partners, employees, industry analysts and key influencers.
Prior to joining Kaseya, Ms. Kipp served as executive vice president and chief technology publicist for Competitive Velocity Business Solutions, serving high-tech clients in global markets with public relations, competitive analysis and landscaping. As COO and chief compliance officer at Mountain Media, Ms. Kipp led an e-commerce software and level 1 hosting provider with stagnant growth through a significant restructuring to achieve newfound growth and success.
Taunia Kipp, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Communications Officer, has been instrumental in driving and positioning Kaseya’s tremendous growth over her eight-year tenure with the company. Over the past year, Taunia played a crucial role in Kaseya’s success in the investment community, leading to the $2 Billion valuation of the company. As the longest standing member of Kaseya’s eight-person executive team, she has strategically developed Kaseya’s competitive product marketing positioning among customers, partners, the media and analyst community. Her impressive career spans more than 22 years in technology and 15 years working with SaaS-based and SaaS-modeled product lines. Taunia’s passion for her career in SaaS Technologies and mission to drive the success of Kaseya’s business customers who consume these technologies, as well as her dedication to developing the careers of her team and peers, makes her a 2019 SaaS Woman of the Year. Under Taunia’s leadership, the global corporate marketing and communications team develops and executes key marketing initiatives, corporate strategy and awareness, community engagement, brand management and brand reputation, and the development of communication pillars to key stakeholders. Taunia also heads up Kaseya’s Leadership Task Force, an internal group of 60 executives with a charter of ensuring that executives are creating internal linkages with other key managers, leaders and influencers throughout the and ensuring the continuity, proliferation and reinforcement of key corporate messages, goals and focuses throughout the greater Kaseya organization. She also founded Kaseya’s highly successful global user conference that today draws more than 2,000 attendees worldwide across three continents. Prior to joining Kaseya, Taunia served as executive vice president and chief technologist for Competitive Velocity Business Solutions, serving high-tech software and IT platform clients in global markets with marketing, business development, public relations, competitive analysis and landscaping and prior, she served as chief operating officer and chief IT compliance officer at Mountain Media where she led a SaaS-based ecommerce software and level 1 hosting provider with stagnant growth through a significant restructuring to achieve newfound growth and success. Additionally, Taunia served as vice president, business operations at ROO Group, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: RGRP), a global provider of video enablement technology and video-centric interactive marketing solutions serving customers such as ESPN and Disney, and as vice president, marketing and partner development for Wurld Media, Inc. where she led technology partnerships with entertainment powerhouses such as 20th Century Fox, NBC Universal, Warner Bros. and Sony. Earlier in her career, Taunia served in a variety of capacities at a regional IT Managed Services Provider and unified communications provider, where she spent six years developing her technology career as a telecommunication systems engineer and eventually as general manager for the company’s College and University IT Managed Services Division.
Leadership in the face of COVID: At the very outset of the COVID-19 pandemic and when recognizing its impact on the global economy, Taunia along with the Kaseya executive team quickly developed and launched a program called Kaseya Cares, a more than $10.5 million emergency response program, which has provided assistance to Kaseya’s MSP and SMB customers around the world by offering them support with any business impact through government relief navigation, business guidance and direct financial assistance.
