Vinesh joined Kibo Commerce in 2018 as Chief Sales Officer. Kibo provides cloud commerce solutions that are specific to customer needs.

Previously, he was a AVP Sales, North America at Oracle and before that a RVP Sales at BigMachines. Earlier in his career he worked with Oracle as a Regional Sales Manager.

He graduated from University of California, Davis with an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Managerial Economics.

  1. I have had the pleasure of working with Vinesh over the past two years-reporting directly to him and leading partnerships for him/Kibo. Vinesh’s strengths, as a leader, show themselves in many ways daily. I will start with one of the strongest. Vinesh can effectively do anything that he asks of his team. When you lead with ability, you earn credibility with your team. That credibility begets trust/respect…which leads to a team wanting to be successful with and for the leader. Vinesh brings over a decade of experience with enterprise-level SaaS organizations in the commerce and order management technology space. His operational rigor and work to build a high-performing team has led Kibo to record bookings success (during a pandemic). The frameworks Vinesh has deployed, and his emphasis on data accuracy and reporting, give all stakeholders (internal teams and the board) a clear picture of the state of Kibo’s business. His credentials and his journey from sales contributor to sales leader are impressive. His accomplishments, in such a relatively short career, comes only to someone who puts in the extra work to develop and grow into a successful leader. Although to most it would seem that he has reached the top career goal as CSO, I am witness to Vinesh’s relentless pursuit to learn, grow and be/do better every day. Vinesh motivates his team with actions and words. He is a very polished and effective communicator, regardless of the message, audience or forum. Vinesh is a great family man, husband and father. This strength/trait does not get recognized often in our leaders, but succeeding in a fast paced and competitive industry and still maintain work/life balance and priorities is something many aspire to do–Vinesh is a good example.   2. As a leader of people, Vinesh is what they call a “multiplier.” He looks beyond his own intellect to focus his energy on extracting and extending the intelligence of others. He encourages innovation by extending challenges to his people to instill ownership and accountability. Because of his innate ability to inspire growth in others with empathy, he is well respected by his peers and those who report to him. He also walks the walk, and is willing to roll up his sleeves to show that he’s not too far removed from the roles he expects others to succeed in. As a sales leader, Vinesh is dedicated to developing processes that can be trusted and scaled, and as a result is able to accurately forecast the business and plan for the future. His consistency in always being two steps ahead led Kibo confidently through the uncertainties of the pandemic last year.
