6sense Adds Three Industry Vets to its C-Suite

San Francisco-based 6sense, a B2B predictive intelligence engine for marketing and sales teams, has expanded its executive leadership with three key hires intended to help drive the company into its next stage of growth. The four-year-old tech firm announced the appointment of new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) David Simon, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Kyle Christensen and Vice President of Sales and Engineering, Sanjay Kini.

6sense has raised a total of $36 million in three rounds of funding from six investors including Salesforce Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, Battery Ventures and Venrock. The startup’s customers use its marketing automation technology to boost the efficiency of their sales and marketing teams with big data and artificial intelligence. Led by newly instated Chief Executive Officer Jason Zintak, 6sense’s patented big data platform captures buyer intent signals across digital and offline interactions, leveraging AI to analyze the signals and predict when a prospect is in-market for new products and services.

“6sense has already built the leading platform to modernize the marketing cloud, and with Dave, Kyle and Sanjay on board, we’ve rounded out our team of experts to accelerate our growth. Customers like Box, Cisco and Dell are seeing amazing results with complete visibility into the full buyer journey and the power to predict when the next buyer is ready. We can’t wait to help sales and marketing teams everywhere achieve similar levels of success,” said Zintak in a statement.

6sense’s new CRO brings to the company 24 years of experience in enterprise software sales at SaaS and marketing tech companies including Oracle, Responsys and Citrix. David most recently held the position as CRO of marketing solutions provider DoubleDutch. The company’s new CMO, Kyle, most recently served as the SVP of Marketing at Invoca, a pioneer in voice marketing technology, and brings to 6sense over 15 years of experience in enterprise software. Sanjay Kini, the firm’s new VP of Sales and Engineering, has spent over two decades focusing on driving customer transformation through technology, most recently holding the position as General Manager at content management platform Naehas.
