With the rise of the hybrid workplace in mind, Brivo, a global leader of smart home technology and cloud-based access control, has struck a partnership with workspace management platform Proximity. The two companies are combining forces to expand workspace management within a single platform to create a new standard for flexible space and coworking. Founded in 1999, Brivo has been providing access management and security solutions for more than two decades, while Proximity has been shaking up flexible workplace operations with its versatile platform that enables streamlined, safe, and secure access and collaboration in and out of office.
The new Brivo integration with Proximity’s platform combines customized permissions with cloud-based access management systems to provide all-in-one security and convenience. Users can access building, office, and conference room doors using Proximity’s mobile app, providing automatic digital key security when credentials or memberships expire. The integration is expected to aid remote workers who use professional working spaces other than a primary office, allowing users to take advantage of the amenities and socialization of coworking spaces. Desk booking, meeting room management, and onsite check-ins provide data that can track hybrid working trends; Proximity’s platform has already tracked the rise of usage across more than 400 coworking and flex spaces since March 2020.
