Coca-Cola and Microsoft Forge $1.1 Billion AI Partnership

The Coca-Cola Company has embarked on a five-year collaboration with Microsoft to harness generative AI technology across its fundamental operations. With a commitment of $1.1 billion towards Microsoft Cloud and its gen AI capabilities, including Microsoft 365 and Azure services, Coca-Cola aims to enhance efficiency and scalability within its systems. This partnership extends beyond financial investment, as Coca-Cola plans to integrate gen AI digital assistants powered by Azure OpenAI Service into various aspects of its business, from customer experiences to supply chain optimization.

Neeraj Tolmare, Senior Vice President and Global Chief Information Officer at The Coca-Cola Company, emphasized the significance of this expanded alliance, the partnership, which initially began as a $250 million agreement in 2020, underscores Coca-Cola's commitment to ongoing digital transformation.
