Proxem mainly focuses on delivering semantic analysis technologies to provide businesses with the best language comprehension possible. Their Proxem Studio software is one of the best Natural Language Processing platforms on the market. Proxem Studio not only delivers a rule-based natural language understanding, but it also has natural language processing and machine learning technologies. It has been used by companies to gain a better understanding of their supply networks, customer expectations, market trends, and other important aspects of business. Dassaults Systèmes’ acquisition of Proxem enables to enhance the collaborative data science capabilities of their 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

François-Régis Chaumartin, founder of Proxem, states: “Eighty percent of overall information is unstructured, non-actionable, and locked in text. With Dassault Systèmes, we will build the multifaceted industry knowledge graph.” With this acquisition, businesses that use the 3DEXPERIENCE platform can extract useful information from unstructured text data and transform it into actionable content and insights.

“To be scalable and replicable, AI requires a strong and stable representation model,” said Florence Hu-Aubigny, Executive Vice President, Research & Development, Dassault Systèmes. “Proxem’s strong AI-driven semantic data interpretation and automation capabilities offer new opportunities for 3DEXPERIENCE platform customers. They accelerate a close connection with consumers, patients, and citizens, capturing insights on experiences and expectations, and empowering business innovators with contextual, accumulated knowledge and know-how. Virtual twin experiences on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform now take AI to the next level, revealing information intelligence and creating strong levers in new areas. Companies can elevate product design and quality to become more competitive.”

By enhancing collaborative data science, businesses can leverage data patrimony whilst also interpreting the knowledge scattered throughout their requirements, regulations, customer feedback, contracts, media press, and clinical trial results all within the 3D virtual experience. This new development helps Dassault Systèmes offer a wider range of services with their 3DEXPERIENCE platform including requirements intelligence, drug development, and contract intelligence. The 3DEXPERIENCE platform is now able to deliver cutting-edge collaboration, planning, and execution opportunities for businesses.
