Waterloo, Ontario-based case management software provider Athena Software has announced the appointment of Geoff Bellew as CEO. Bellow, who will take the helm starting July 1st, is currently a senior strategic adviser at Communitech and has a breadth of experience in the finance, insurance and tech industries.
Athena Software is a provider of mobile cloud-based case management software to government, police services, universities and nonprofits around the world. The company’s flagship product, Penelope, is a comprehensive client management SaaS solution used by thousands of non-for-profit organizations in the health and social services field.
Greg Stanley-Horn, along with his wife Diane Stanley-Horn and brother Kevin Stanley, who co-founded Athena Software in 2001, will remain in their executive roles.
“Geoff’s business expertise, along with his nonprofit leadership experience and passion, will serve Athena well as we continue our incredible growth into a global leader in SaaS case management solutions for health and social services,” said Greg.
Alongside his senior executive roles, Geoff comes to Athena Software with decades of community volunteer work. The new CEO intends to help accelerate the next phase of the company’s growth as a leading provider of outcomes-driven software for social services.
