Harness Raises $230 Million In Capital To Expand Its Software Delivery Platform

Harness is one of the latest software development companies to benefit from investor excitement, raising $230 million in Series D funding and giving the startup a valuation of $3.7 billion. Founded in 2016, Harness provides continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) solutions. Its software delivery platform enables engineers to deliver software faster, with higher quality, and with less effort.

The Harness Delivery Platform is designed to help companies accelerate their cloud initiatives as well as their adoption of containers and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Amazon ECS. This latest funding round was led by Norwest Venture Partners and includes $175 million in equity and $55 million in debt financing; the company has raised $425 million to date. It plans to spend its new capital on expanding its platform and hiring more high-class talent as it projects continued growth.
