Intuit’s Money By QuickBooks Empowers New Businesses With Professional-Grade FinTech

California-based company Intuit has announced Money by QuickBooks, the latest addition to its comprehensive and ever-expanding suite of financial software offerings that equip small businesses with solutions for managing payments and cash flow. The new Money by QuickBooks mobile app, available for free on Android and iOS, is designed to enable new small businesses, freelancers, and sole proprietors to accept payments and track expenses with features including debit card and bill payment capabilities. The product is an introductory offering for enterprises that don’t need QuickBooks’ full range of capability and services, yet still require powerful end-to-end money management solutions.

The COVID-19 pandemic has driven an uptick in small business launches, and QuickBooks hopes to expand its user base by offering financial services expertise to even more new entrepreneurs. With a Money by QuickBooks account, enterprises can request and accept payments in a variety of ways, including debit, credit, and ACH transfer, without requiring customers to have the app. It also provides greater access to business cash, income, and expenses in one place, with the flexibility to schedule and pay bills at any time. Intuit will continue to add even more powerful banking features in-app in the coming weeks.
