Naranga Appoints New CEO Mark Montini

Franchise operations software provider Naranga LLC has named certified franchise executive Mark Montini as its Chief Executive Officer. Montini will replace founder and CEO of Edible Arrangements and Naranga, Tariq Farid, who will serve as Chairman of Naranga’s Board of Directors.

Naranga stands as the second-largest provider of franchise operations software, serving over 180 clients and representing more than 250 brands. Its software seeks to enhance overall operations, lead management, brand standards, field auditing and employee training, through innovation and results-driven technology.

Montini brings to Atlanta, GA-based Naranga a breadth of experience helping national brands leverage technology in order to drive better results for local affiliates. Previously, he served as founder and CEO of automated franchise marketing platform Promio, which was sold to Surefire Social in October of 2016. Before Promio, the industry expert helped launched and grow firms which built the first national-to-local CRM for non-profits and the first national-to-local website building platform.

“Mark’s passion for delivering world-class customer service, his track-record of innovation, and knowledge of franchising made him an exceptional fit for Naranga,” said Farid. “He has a refreshing, modern approach to leadership that’s proven incredibly effective delivering results and attracting top talent in the technology space. He’s the right person to lead Naranga as we aggressively pursue our vision of driving greater success for franchisees by providing the best technology to franchisors.”
