Nutanix CEO Rajiv Ramaswami Compares Multicloud Platform’s Flexibility To Airbnb

As cloud computing and software company Nutanix celebrates a strong Q2 earnings report, Chief Executive Officer Rajiv Ramaswami sees growing momentum of hybrid multicloud model adoption. Ramaswami cites his company’s portfolio of hybrid multicloud solutions, launched early 2022, as fortifying Nutanix as a leader in the sector.

During a Q2 call with Yahoo Finance, the CEO compared his company to Airbnb, the popular vacation rental platform, remarking that customers can use the Nutanix platform on any cloud they want. To this end, customers get choice, flexibility, and simplicity for their multicloud needs.

Nutanix reported 19% revenue growth and a 37% increase in annual contract value (ACV) year-over-year, providing Ramaswami with plenty of fuel for his optimism. The CEO leads the company’s charge for “customer delight,” pointing to its Net Promoter Score of 92 as evidence of high satisfaction and sustained customer service excellence.

Ramaswami joined Nutanix as CEO in December 2020 after several years as an executive with VMware — one of the company’s chief competitors. The company currently boasts a market cap closing in on $6 billion.
