Oracle Cloud Empowers K-12 Education Institutes To Modernize, Support Students And Staff

K-12 school systems across the U.S. are adopting Oracle Cloud to simplify business processes, maximize resources, and better manage and support students and staff, according to Oracle. With fluctuating budgets and tricky federal and state-wide guidelines, institutions are seeking ways to do more with less without jeopardizing the quality of their educational offerings. By streamlining finance, HR, and data management processes in the cloud, K-12 school systems are improving efficiencies and reducing costs. Some of the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions implemented include Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Performance Management (HPM), and Analytics Cloud.

Oracle has identified several case study institutions in the U.S., including intermediate units and school districts in Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Kansas. For example, Allegheny Intermediate Unit deployed Oracle’s Cloud HCM and ERP solutions to modernize its back-office operations, producing higher efficiency and better ease-of-use. Also in Pennsylvania, Bucks County Intermediate Unit used the Cloud HCM to make improvements in recruiting, operational efficiencies, and employee engagement. In Colorado, the Cherry Creek School District used Oracle’s Cloud solutions to ensure its core financials are centralized and easily accessible, improving transparency around budgeting and funding.
